Established in 1981 to the aim of providing the artist with the best creative conditions, STUDIOTTANTA-FORTUNA RECORDS has been built in the hilly Monferrato area : the calmness of the Piedmontese country side, the delicious cuisine, the excellent wines, the welcoming structures equipped with swimming pools, tennis courts and golf courses in connection with the more sophisticated taking and recording technologies, allowed us to obtain the optimal conditions.

Today, STUDIOTTANTA-FORTUNA RECORDS can serve a considerable range of users, being an "open chain" studio being therefore in a position to be operative, with any non-resident required equipment in 24 hours.

Its main peculiarity is the experience worked out in the field of the multitrack acoustic recording and direct recording (with no subsequent overlaps). This helped in selection of the Artists concerned in these techniques (see customer list) that, in addition to the sound and artistic qualities allow to realize low budget productions.

The prevailing field of interest for STUDIOTTANTA-FORTUNA RECORDS is certainly the productions of Acoustic music, from the Singer-songwiters to Jazz and Ethnic Music.

The sound advice and the professional recording, is of course to be added to the executive and artistic production that is put into effect trough the project, development and realization of the product. This is performed for the record Companies or single Artists/Producers that entrust to us the development of their production projects.

In this field various productions ranging from Jazz to Rock and from House music to R/B, have been carried out.

To this aim, the company has a close cooperation network (Authors, Composers, Programmers, Musicians, Singers, Photographers, Graphic designers, Copiwriters, Translators, etc.) wich enables it to realize any kind of productions including dubbing and synchronization of movie soundtracks.

The production philosophy of STUDIOTTANTA-FORTUNA RECORDS has always been the total assistance to the product above all concerning the coherence to the artistic idea and to the original sound, trying to keep them alive in every aspect of the work process, including advice and realization, in external studios also abroad, of works not feasible in our studios. This allows to offer the artist wich brings his idea, the project and total realization up to the finished product (including Authors Right matters) and ready for the market.

In the field of technological research and in order to obtain a more "analogic" sound for the CDs, during 1995 we experimented and created the hibrid premasterng system called "H.D.T.P." (Hybrid Digital Tube Premastering)™. This process, already successfully tested on many products, combines the digital support advantages and a more natural listening of the artistic expression.

Since 1992 we resumed our "live" sound-engineering and acoustic project/assistance activity. In this field, the use of external structures has been chosen, so as to supply the concerned production with the type of equipment more suitable to the its requirements.

Since 1994 , three record labels are operative wich link up with STUDIOTTANTA -FORTUNA RECORDS : SFR, Tielines, OEarth and STUDIOTTANTA-FORTUNA RECORDS PUBLISHING.
