SILVIA PELLEGRINO
Silvia Pellegrino, singer and teacher of vocal technique and vocal expression, she has brought up her special voice studying with Steve Lacy, Mark Murphy, Bob Stoloff, Roger Treece, Norma Winston and with the scientist - researcher Josephine Estil.

Composer and author, director of Gospel Choir, She teaches in seminars for groups and soloists with the precious collaboration of the pianist Guido Canavese. They give birth to the project called "AVORIO" in 1995. Avorio is an acoustic ensemble full of scenes and inflexions coming fron an imaginary movie situation.

She cooperates as vocalist for Logos TV from 1994 to 1996. She also uses musictherapy to deepen her research about human voice, collaborating with the musicologist Nirodh Agostino Fortini, with whom she has partecipated to several discographic products. Since 1996 she works as a teacher of Afro-American sing with the "Jazz Mobile Association" for an initiative named "Music in didactics" in favour of high schools.

With the ensemble Avorio she has partecipated to the following reviews: (1997/1998) "JAZZ A PALAZZO" in the Royal Palace in Turin; (1997) "JAZZ IN TOWN" organized by Philip Morris; Festival organized by "Associazione Culturale Demiurgos"; Festival organized by the Folkclub of Turin.
