| Antonio
Marangolo, saxophone, piano player and composer, started his activity in 1970. He has been for a long time Paolo Conte side-man, and he has cooperated with many other artists such as Miriam Makeba, Francesco Guccini, Ornella Vanoni and Ivano Fossati. He has been appreciated very much in the best theaters and festivals all over the world: the Paris "OLYMPIA", the mythical "BLUE NOTE" in New York and at the "Festival International de Jazz" in Montreal where he performed with great success with his "MARANGOLO QUARTETTO ORIZZONTALE". |

Besides to his activity carried out for several italian singers, Marangolo has cultivated and developed his own original composer, arranger and musician style, also creating several soundtracks for che cinema and the theater.
The six already issued records and his several other productions are an open window on the world of the Mediterranean singing, of the afro-american percussions, saxjazz and classical music.
