Giacomo Aula, born in Lagonegro on March 28 1967, studied classical piano with Maria Martino, then specialized in afro-american music in Turin and in Siena Jazz . To be mentioned, among others, his experiences with the "Orchestra Nazionale Giovanile Italiana ", with the solo players Peter Erskine, Palle Daniellson, Bruno Tommaso, John Taylor, Gianluigi Trovesi e Rudy Migliardi. Giacomo Aula also played with Ernie Watts, Giorgio Crobu, Gianni Basso, Lorenzo Petrocca, Enrico Rava, Lee Konitz,Giorgio Li Calzi,Daniele Esposito, SalvatoreTranchini, Eliot Zigmund, Mario Raja and Luciano Bertolotti. Aula cooperates on a regular basis with the saxophonist Larry Schneider. He also took part in the following festivals: JazzTage98 in Reutlingen (D), Philip Morris Jazz In Town '97 -Turin. Tribute to Michel Petrucciani - Turin 1999. The International Festival ³Estate MusicaleSorrentina 1999²  commissioned  him a concert dedicated to Nino Rota.

Larry Schneider was born in Long Island (New York) in 1949. At age 21 he decided to dedicate himself completely to music, and therefore moved to  New York. During this period he starts playing with drummer Billy Cobham,  with the Tad Jones and Mel Lewis Orchestra, with the band led by Horace Silver and the one led by Bill Evans. He also records with the quartet of pianist Jim Mc Neely. He comes to Europe for the Jazz Festivals in Berlin and in Paris. At the same time, he works as freelance in studio sessions (accompanying singer Lionel Richie and other artists). Following this experience he plays with several european  musicians and orchestras (Orchestre National de Jazz led by François Jeanneau and the Concert Jazz Band led by pianist George Gruntz). Then he performs also with another band, which includes double-bass player Mike Richmond, pianists Andy Laverne, Richie Beirach and drummer Adam Nussbaum. He currently performs in Europe with a pianoless trio (with drummer Daniel Humair and standup-bass player François Mechalli) and in duo with  Giacomo Aula.
